2008 Early Winter Kick Off!
The 2008-2009 season got off to a late start, but we are now on track for an incredible winter season! I have recently moved up to the mountain to work for Crystal Mountain Hotels as the new Group Sales and Events Coordinator. I have found it to be a wonderfully warm community of people who love the mountains and love to have a great time! I am very happy to be here and look forward to what lies ahead for this season and beyond!
Thanksgiving dinner at the Alpine Inn Restaurant was exquisite. The delicious holiday menu created by our new head chef Shane Eagon and the casual fine dining atmosphere of the Alpine Inn Restaurant made for a beautiful and relaxing Thanksgiving. The Alpine Inn Restaurant has a lovely new daily menu and special menu items offered on holidays.
In the legendary Snorting Elk Cellar, we have live bands performing every Friday and Saturday nights! There is nothing like the coziness offered by "the Elk" after a long day on the mountain. The Snorting Elk is a full service bar and deli equipped with a fireplace, music and outstanding company for swapping stories of the slopes. The Snorting Elk Cellar is ranked the top ski bar in the west by Snow Country Magazine.
We kicked off the season with Crystal Mountain's favorite reggae band Little Big Man. The following weekends we had performances by the Shed Boys (high energy bluegrass) and the Seattle jam band the Greenwood Allstars.
