Powder Day at Crystal!!

After several days of great surface conditions, we received a great dump of light fluffy POWDER. The 7:00am ski report said 4 inches of new but those who made it up were welcomed with almost 1 foot of fresh on the mountain!!

Typical early season "midweek" crowds or lack thereof allowed for as many runs as you could handle.

High Campbell opened up for Power Bowl runs at Lunchtime. Serious face shots... No time for action photos because no one would wait for me to setup the camera.

Crystal Mountain Hotels still has plenty of rooms for this week through Christmas. Availability for the week between Christmas & New Years is limited but there are still rooms here and there. Starting 1/1/08 there is also good availability.

Po'okela Street Band is playing the Snorting Elk Cellar this weekend. Come up for great food, tasty brews and cocktails and listen to some Island Style "Jawaiian" music (jamaican and hawaiian).

Looks like someone spent a little too much time in the Snorting Elk!!
